Short-run CD duplication pertains to the production of printed CDs or DVDs, enclosed in appropriate CD packaging, for a quantity of up to 500 units. In contrast, CD replication is employed for quantities exceeding 500 units, involving the creation of a glass-master disc that is utilized to generate the metalized stamper. This stamper is then inserted into replication machines to manufacture the CDs from raw polycarbonate material.

Short-run CD printing involves copying data, audio, or video content onto discs and then printing them in full color using various CD printing methods. Disc Wizards typically offer litho offset print or screen print for CD printing. However, in cases where a quick turnaround is required, inkjet printing is available.
